This involves the design and selection of fittings for the architectural aspects of the project.
Lighting and electrical plans are prepared to fit in with the developed plans. This includes power points, lighting layouts, telephone, TV/audio and alarm systems. It is essential that these layouts are finalised at construction stage to avoid costly changes later. Light fittings are selected and designed, costed and a lighting schedule prepared. Joinery and Cabinetry Details of all joinery items are done i.e. kitchens, bathrooms, vanities, built-in wardrobes, shelving, sound and display units. Together with the client, all appliances, sound and electrical systems are selected. It is imperative that these items are designed to fit into the elements being detailed, including all relevant power or other service points. This will ensure functionality and avoid costly changes after installation. Quotations are called for and all costing schedules will be submitted to the client for approval. Furniture, curtaining, blinds, furnishings and décor Furniture layouts of the spaces being designed are developed. Together with these layouts we will prepare mood boards showing style and concept, samples of materials, and illustrations of furniture. Curtains, blinds and awnings are included here as are lamps, mirrors and artworks. Budget costs and installation programme will be submitted for discussion with the client and his approval. Home ware, beds, linen, crockery and Other Stuff Due to our experience in the hospitality industry we are able to source anything that is required for the home, guest house or work place. This aspect includes the selection and procurement of all items that are required to complete the project and make it liveable. These include beds, bedding, linen, small appliances, crockery, cutlery and kitchen ware. Our contacts in the hospitality industry ensure cost benefits for our clients. Home Management Services We have many requests from clients living out of town or overseas, to check on their homes and do ongoing maintenance or cleaning checks while they are away. Hence we are including this as a service to be provided for clients who need peace of mind that their homes are being cared for while they are away. This can include the supervision of pool and garden services, painting, cleaning, and all small maintenance works.
